WaterWorks helpful tips for residential steam cleaning |
Some cleaning projects do not require a professional steam-cleaning contractor. CLEANING STAINS FROM CONCRETE · Use a mop, broom, rag or wire brush initially on the stain. · Vacuum to remove and collect loose debris before applying water. · To remove a stain from concrete use one part bleach and four parts water. · For oil or grease stains try an alkaline degreaser mixed with hot water. · Treat rust stains with an oxalic-acid cleaner. · Apply the cleaning product in a well-ventilated area and never mix products. · Apply the cleaning solution and let it dry. Rinse with a dampened mop. Some situations can be remedied with a rented or home use pressure washer. Check with your local rental company for prices and options or purchase a home use pressure washer from WaterWorks. If the cleaning project is too large or resistant to clean with a home pressure washer contact us and we will give you an estimate. |
